Daniela got to stop by the hospital and see the new baby today after work. Hopefully they will be coming home tomorrow and I can get over there to see them.
Mommy's Favorite Pajama Pants...
Daniela has been eyeing these pants at the store for a few months now. To her surprise the baby found these when he was opening his birthday presents. She is a happy camper...
Birthday At The Park...

Today went off without a hitch. We spent the better part of the week worrying ourselves about the weather and trying to decide if we thought it was going to rain or not. We ended up going for it and are glad we did, it didn't rain a drop. It was great to see everyone that came out to help us celebrate J's first birthday. We had family come in from out of town and even had J's Great Grandmother make the trip over to see him. Thanks again to everyone for making it a great day. Hit the link below to view our online album of the party.
Birthday Dinner...
All of the fam stopped by for pizza and cupcakes on Friday for J's FIRST birthday. We got a bunch of mini cupcakes from Sweet! and finally let him dig into one since we've been waiving them in front of his face for the past year. He promptly paid Daniela back for teasing him with the monthly cupcakes by biting her on cue when she tried to feed him. Priceless!
I get to open the Mickey box, FINALLY!
So this was delivered to J last week and we set it aside until his birthday. He LOVED the box and wouldn't stop screaming until I gave it to him. Thanks Charlie & Fam!

J is almost ready for the mud and for the dirt jumps. Right after I turned off the video he started practicing his superman seat grabs and heel clickers. He's learning so fast! I'm really proud of him...
Birthday, Here I Come!

I know that we're a week away, but we bought the baby a baby power wheel today as his present and weren't sure if he was going to like it or not. We wanted to know before his birthday whether it was going to work, so we let him tear into it early. He loves it. He already knows where the button is and is pressing it on and off to make it slowly move forward. He should be up and running in no time...
Jack Took A Shower...
We spent our Saturday with Rick and Dora at Jack's baby shower. Had a lot of fun hanging out with everyone. Good thing the Fire Marshall didn't show up, we would have been shut down as I'm pretty sure we were over capacity. They got the best gift ever from Tiffany, Eric, Lexi and my mom. This doll is awesome!

Crash Landing...
So I come home from work and as I'm walking into the house from the garage, I find glass scattered all over the place. The place looked like a crime scene. I initially thought to myself that Daniela must have dropped a glass or something. So after confirming that she didn't drop anything and thought that I did it, I go back out to investigate. I finally discovered that the garage window was broken out. I was pissed!...thinking either one of these punk kids running around the neighborhood broke it out or someone tried to break in.
That's when I saw the note on the front door. We have an old flying field behind our house where people fly remote control model airplanes. The author goes on to explain how he lost control of his airplane and out of the hundreds of acres in the immediate area, the plane decided to crash directly into the window on our garage door.
So I'm now thinking, "Wow, that's a nice guy" to actually leave a note when no one's home with his business card explaining the situation and confirming that he has already ordered the window and will be installing it as soon as he has it. But after calling and speaking to him, I discretely find out the real reason he probably fessed up and left the note. He wants his couple-hundred dollar airplane motor back that flew into the garage!!!

The Beef People...
We just got home from Beef's pre-birthday dinner. Had a great time hanging out with the fam. Rick and Dora got Sebastian a drum set. All I can say is that they are two very brave parents!
Saturday Night Fever...
J is becoming more aware of music whenever he hears it. He has been slowly starting to dance more and more. Here he is busting a move earlier tonight at Jordan's birthday party...
Got Milk?
Finally, the baby has started to drink milk from a bottle. He hasn't been drinking milk ever since Daniela stopped nursing. So this is a surprise. What's the secret, you ask? A little bit of Strawberry Nesquik mixed in...
Miss You, Mommy!
Mommy had to spend the morning at work. So J and I did our thing around the house. We can't wait to see you. Love you!
Peek-A-Boo...
Caught a photo of J through the port hole on his Micky house while playing peek-a-boo. He was expecting me to pop out on the other side...
Where The Wild Things Are...
J got a cool bath towel that looks like a monster from his fam this weekend. Now when he's trying to bite he can really play the part...

J has finally learned how to stand up on his own without any assistance. He is walking (and sometimes running) all over the house. We definitely have to keep a closer eye on him now...
