Name The Baby (Part Two)...
So I got yelled at since I left some of Daniela's name choices off of the last poll. And some people didn't get to cast their vote. So I am going to re-launch the poll and let it run until the due date. Here is the new revised list. Poll is in the sidebar to the right...

3D Sonogram...
So I have to preface this post saying that we are not very happy with the quality of the 3D sonogram this time around. We went to a new place because the one that we used for J's 3D moved. The results are not very good but I suppose it's better than nothing. So here's the link to the newest 3D sonogram album.
The Third Trimester..
Daniela is officially in her 3rd trimester. This pregnancy has flown by compared to the last one. We are planning our 3D sonogram for the next two to three weeks. So stay tuned...
Preview Number 2...
We had our second sonogram last week. Daniela is mid way through her second trimester. Time is flying this time around. July is going to be here before we know it!

First Look, Shug Jr.
We had our first sonogram today and got to see our new shug. It has been confirmed, it's a boy! I'm curious to know if that gender test we took a couple weeks ago was a coincidence or if it actually knew what it was talking about. Either way, J is going to have a new brother to play with in a few months. Also, the sonogram indicated that Daniela is actually closer to 14 weeks than 13. So it looks like her due date is around July 17 instead of the 22nd. We posted all of the sonogram photos at the album link below.
1st sonogram scheduled...
Daniela had a doc appointment today where she got to hear the baby's heartbeat. They have scheduled our first sonogram for Monday, January 17. It's going to be too soon to confirm the baby's gender, but it will give us our first look of the new shug...
Is it a boy?
Just for fun, Daniela and I bought a gender prediction test at the pharmacy and decided to try it out. It measures levels of DNA first thing in the morning and says it can predict the gender of the baby with 80 to 90% accuracy. Well...the result said the new shug is a boy! I guess we'll have to wait a few more weeks for the sonogram to see if the test is the real deal...
July Baby...
Daniela had her first doc appointment today. She decided to go back to Dr. B. We were going to switch because of our whole swine flu epidemic that happened at Winnie Palmer last time. She wanted to try to find a doc with another hospital affiliation, but in the end Dr. B was great last time around so she decided to stick with him.
Her due date is currently July 22nd, but that could get adjusted slightly after her first sonogram. Aunt Tiffany's bday is in July, so it looks like she's going to have to share her month!

Test Results Are In...
And we got an A++. We went the fool-proof way and just got a digital test that has zero room for error while trying to decipher the results. The small digital screen says it all. So it's official, we're going to have another Shug!
Chapter 2?
Daniela still isn't sure because one of the lines are faint so she wants another test. But the vertical line is the one that counts. So I say it's done!
ATTENTION PLEASE...
We have an announcement to make. Someone's pregnant!!! No, no...not Daniela. We are excited to announce that Dora and Rick are officially baking bread! Congrats guys! Very happy for you!

Memory Lane...
So this is what the shug looked like in the womb while hiccuping all those times. Well the hiccups are back with a vengeance. Make sure your sound is turned up. Too funny...
The Results Are In...
So the wonderful and fabulous Winnie Palmer Hospital called us today to let us know that the results of Daniela's Swine Flu test came back from The Center For Disease Control in California today. As we expected, she is negative for swine flu.
Home, Sweet Home...
We finally made it home at about 2:20pm or so. We had a delay at the hospital with Daniela getting her Tamiflu prescription. Time for a nap...all of us...
The Cold War Is Over...
The pediatrician just came in and said they they are discharging him today. They are working on the paperwork and we should be out of here by lunch time or shortly afterwards. Daniela's final lab results for the H1N1 virus haven't been received yet, but they are letting us leave anyways. We have to call in a couple days and get the final results. Party at the Harp Residence!!!
Waiting for the Verdict...
So Daniela got her discharge papers all signed. All we are waiting on is for the pediatrician to sign the baby's discharge papers. They came in and took him for his exam at about 8:20am or so. He has since returned to our room and the nurse said the pediatrician will be in shortly to discuss everything. That's when we will get the yay or nay...
Up all night...
J was up all night, wide awake. He is super alert and doesn't want to close his eyes for a second. He will stare at you for hours...
