Merry Christmas!

Intro To The New Year...

J had a rough time last night.  There's some sort of bug going around between all the kids in the fam and J got bit.  He was awake until 4am throwing up.  We don't have any more clean sheets, towels, blankets or pillowcases left in the house.  I got to take a 2:30am shower, and shug didn't fall asleep until the sun was almost up.  Happy New Year!

Batter Up...

A Ride Down the Coaster...

Merry Christmas!

Here's a couple xmas shots and the link to our Christmas album.

Early Xmas Eve...

Bella and London aren't going to be able to make it to the xmas eve shindig tonight.  So we went to see them this morning so they could get their presents from the fam...

Family Traditions...

I can remember on Christmas morning my sister and I would wake up extra early and run out to the living room to see what was under the tree.  We couldn't wait to open our presents, so we would go in and wake up mom and dad so that we could get started.  Unfortunately, my dad would take his time getting showered and dressed before coming out and letting us start tearing open paper.  Luckily, my mom would fill our stockings with plenty of stuff to keep us occupied until dad came strolling out...

'Tis The Season...

Our favorite time of the year is here.  We got our tree and decorations put up this evening.  And we made the trip again this year to Hallmark to get J another ornament...

Happy Halloween!

Went for a short walk around the Lopez neighborhood.  J did pretty good.  After he got his first piece of candy that's all he cared about and didn't pay mind to anything else...

Jack dressed up as a Jack-o-lantern, lol!

Happy 4th of July!

We are on our way to 4th of July dinner.  Not sure if J will be up long enough for us to go see his first fireworks display tonight, but we're going to try to take him.  Happy 4th!

Happy Father's Day...

Hope all the dads out there had a good weekend with their families.  J and I want to wish everyone a happy father's day...

Happy Mommy Day!!!

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Easter!!!

So J's first Easter came and went. He had a great day hanging out with everyone in his family. He was even able to give all of his cousins an Easter basket! He looked great in his Easter outfit, although he's still trying to figure out the shoes thing. He'll get it one day...

Easter, Here We Come...

We had all of the youngsters in the family over today to dye eggs for Easter. I was expecting more of a mess, but everything turned out ok. We hope all of the kids had fun. Tomorrow we're going to hide all of the eggs so they can go on a Easter egg hunt...

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Will You Be My Valentine?

Happy Valentine's Day!

More Christmas Toys...

Here's another toy that J got for Christmas. He really likes this one too...

J's First Christmas...

It's official...J had his first Christmas. Everyone got him a whole bunch of stuff and we are very thankful.

He seems to really love his new playmat, so I think it is one of his favorite presents this year.

It's been a long day and he is all worn out from the fun...

The Season To Be Giving...

A broker that I do business with does a program every year called backpacks for the homeless. Each Christmas they provide backpacks full of living essentials and comfort items to families who are homeless and have been displaced by the economic downturn. Daniela and I made one this year for a little boy with toys, coloring books, crayons and some drinks and snacks. I wish that I had thought to post the info here sooner than now so that anyone else who felt compelled to help someone out for the holidays would have been able to.

But that's no excuse, everyone should be helping any way that you can...Do something nice! There's still time...
