J's Birthday Bash...
J had his birthday party today at Monkey Joe's. He was a complete train wreck for the first 20 minutes when we got there. Not sure if he just didn't like that there were so many people there, or if he was just being emotional. He eventually settled down and started having a blast while running around on all the slides and bounce houses. That all changed when Monkey Joe showed up! J definitely didn't like him and was staring at him like he just killed his puppy until he finally left the room...
Under Construction...
We found this truck while at Target and thought J would have fun pushing it around with his toys in it. Instead he would much rather hop in the back and ride in it himself...
Giddyup...
Horseback rides are one of J's favorite new things. Someone give mommy some grass to eat!
Laundry Ride...
Here is J's new favorite toy, at least for this week. It's amazing what keeps his attention. The most mundane things can keep him entertained for hours...
Full House...
J got to spend the afternoon playing with the Lopez clan. All five of them were happy to take over the house for a few hours while their parents caught a movie, and I'm ready for a nap... Props to Rick and Dora for doing this every day!!!
Working up an appetite...
Took shug outside today for a little bit before dinner so he could run around and be J. After pushing (not riding) his power wheel up and down the driveway, running faster than his legs could go and falling, and licking the sidewalk...he was ready to go inside for dinner!
Peek-A-Boo...
Caught a photo of J through the port hole on his Micky house while playing peek-a-boo. He was expecting me to pop out on the other side...
