Rockabye Baby...
Came across this website today that sells lullaby music cds that are renditions of 20 different rock artists. They used xylophones and other instruments to create the songs that were top rock hits. They have awesome tracks by The Beatles, Nirvana, Coldplay, U2, Metallica and many more. Great stuff...check out the couple of samples I posted below! We downloaded the entire collection!
Baby's Room...
Here's a couple updated pics of the baby's room. I was delaying putting them up because the room isn't done yet. It still looks a little empty. We are still missing a rocking chair for the corner, a rug for the floor and we are looking for big cloud stickers for his walls. Hope to have it mostly finished by this weekend or next weekend. But these pics should hold you over until then...
Monday Delivery...
So I got a call from the shipping company yesterday, and our baby furniture is scheduled to be delivered on Monday...finally. It only took 14 and a half weeks. Let's hope nothing changes between now and then...
What's Missing?...
THE CRIB!!! That's what. But I got the room finished today. The only thing left is the furniture. The manufacturer said that it should be shipping out by the end of this week...so we might have it by the end of next week...(keyword: might). But we've heard that story before. Not that it really matters though...because the only way the baby will go to sleep is if some one's holding him. I hope this room doesn't turn into just a closet and storage area... Let us know what you think of the room!
Reverse Order...
I have not been in any rush to paint the baby's nursery because Daniela's super duper fabulous rare crib still isn't here (that's another post in itself...). But I decided I'll go ahead and get it painted this weekend. Doesn't this usually get done before the baby arrives??? Rick snagged us some tickets to the Bucs/Cowboys game on Sunday, so I have to get this knocked out on Saturday. Here's a sneak peek...
The UPS Guy...
...is like Santa Clause dressed in brown, he's always bringing us presents. He dropped off some more goodies for the baby today: diaper bag, bottle rack, mobile for the crib and a toy I bought for J (<----haha, you like that right?). It's always good when the UPS delivery guy rings the bell...unless of course he has an express document envelope with him...those usually aren't good deliveries... 
Picked Out The Bedding...
Daniela finally decided on the bedding. She has searched for months and months and wasn't able to come up with anything. So I decided I had to take over. Hopped on the computer and in 5 minutes, this is what I found...and she loves it! I think we are real close to having everything we need...
We Got a Cradle...
Since our crib won't be here until right around when the baby is due (maybe a week or two after) we are thankful that we got a cradle from Dora & Rick. Thanks Sis!
It was meant to be...
So Daniela found the crib she wanted on Sunday and I placed the order on Monday. I got a call today from the crib company...and apparently their web guy or marketing guy had JUST put the crib on their website the day that she found it. Long story short...the web guy had listed it with the wrong price. Fortunately since we had already paid for it, they gave it to us at the price we originally saw it for. I just now checked the website and it is now listed at DOUBLE what we paid. It was meant to be...
Found the crib...
Finally, Daniela has decided on a crib that she wants. It's special order only, so I hope it gets here in time. I think she made a good choice.
