A Little Sick...
The baby has been under the weather the past two days. He has a little bit of a fever and cough. Hopefully he's feeling better by tonight so that he can make his monkey appearance for Halloween...

Today is his two month Birthday. I picked up a mini cupcake from Sweet! today on the way home to celebrate. They are so good. Even though he looks frightened, I hope he had a good birthday...

New Photos...
Tiffany was nice enough to come over this weekend and shoot some photos of us and the baby. They came out great! We love how her pics always look very natural...we can't wait to blow a few of these up! She took many many pics, so the ones in the online album are only some. When I add more I'll let everyone know to look at the album again...

Tiffany is coming over in a few to take some pictures of the shug. We have him all dressed up and he is just waiting for his aunt to arrive...
Rockabye Baby...
Came across this website today that sells lullaby music cds that are renditions of 20 different rock artists. They used xylophones and other instruments to create the songs that were top rock hits. They have awesome tracks by The Beatles, Nirvana, Coldplay, U2, Metallica and many more. Great stuff...check out the couple of samples I posted below! We downloaded the entire collection!

Bed Time...
We are going for three in a row...The past two nights have been great! The baby has been sleeping and only waking up to eat! The change came on Friday when we started letting him sleep on his stomach. Everyone has their own opinion and advice on whether or not this is good practice because it slightly increases the chances of SIDs. But the baby's doc let us know that while it is always best to have him on his back, it's not completely terrible to have him on his stomach. In fact, the doc's three kids all slept on their stomach! So since the shug seems to be more comfortable on his belly, we are going to roll with it for a few to see if it helps him out...
Cold Front...
Today was the first day of real fall weather and the shug was ready! He got all bundled up this morning and headed out for a trip to see the fam. He actually looked like he enjoyed the cool weather...
Afternoon with Daddy...
The shug spent the afternoon with me today. Daniela went with Dora and Alexandra to dinner and bowling to celebrate Alex's birthday. J and I had a great time bonding, except for the short time where he clearly missed his mommy....
Baby's Room...
Here's a couple updated pics of the baby's room. I was delaying putting them up because the room isn't done yet. It still looks a little empty. We are still missing a rocking chair for the corner, a rug for the floor and we are looking for big cloud stickers for his walls. Hope to have it mostly finished by this weekend or next weekend. But these pics should hold you over until then...
