J's First Mini Vacation...
We took J away for the weekend to St. Augustine with the fam; His first mini vacation. We had a great weekend and he seemed to enjoy himself too. He got to see the fort, historic downtown, the lighthouse and even rode on a carousel. We can't wait to take him to see more places...

Spent the weekend in St. Augustine and couldn't miss J's birthday just because we were away. We found a gourmet cupcake shop in downtown called Luli's and it fit the bill. He didn't know the difference. All he saw was cake!!!

We got our bake on tonight. Today's recipe of choice was a sour cream coffee cake. Has a brown sugar crumb topping with maple glaze. Definately a recipe that will get a round two...

Back Stage Pass...
Lexi and Tiffany gave us a performance of a lifetime at the party with their remix of Complicated by Avril Lavigne. There wasn't a dry eye in the house. But we'll leave it up to the viewers to decide if it was because it was a moving rendition or just painful. I thought it was awesome...Great stuff!!!
Party Like a Rock Star...
Just got home from Lexi's birthday party. Rock star theme complete with tattoos, burgers and karaoke. Had a blast. J got inked up courtesy of Lexi's tattoo studio. He's so hood. You can see the pain in his eyes caused by the needle as the color went on...
