Say What?!?!

Here's J and his new phrase that he has picked up from somewhere.  Pretty sure it came from mommy...

Full Auto...

J loves Nerf guns, and so do I.  Also, I don't think mommy gets shot at enough.  So today I picked him up a new Nerf gun.  I don't think he'll have any problems now mowing people down with the full auto...

"Me Hold It..."

That is what J says every night when he wants to sit down with Evan.  He loves to hold him!  And when his time is up and it's time for Evan to go back to bed, he never wants to let him go.

"Mine," he says, lol.

Still Sleeping...

Evan's First Bath...

Evan's belly button umbilical cord thingy finally fell off today.  Thank God!  That thing smelled so bad!  He wasn't too thrilled about the water, but he finally settled in.  And of course J was right there to help give his little bro his first bath...

Baby Coma...

Still sleeping...   Everyone is going to get sick of seeing the same cute baby sleeping.  But that's all he does.  So I have to work with what I've got...

Sweet Dreams...

Hanging Out With Big Bro...

J gets a kick out of holding baby Evan.  He loves to hold him in his lap and give him kisses on his cheek.  Too funny...

High Voltage Newborn...

This is the funniest photo of the bunch that I took in the delivery room.  Evan had just gotten cleaned up and he looked like he was about to get struck by lightning, hair sticking straight out and all...

Hospital Photographer...

Daniela wanted to get Evan's photos taken by the hospital photographer before we left since we didn't get that opportunity last time with J (the swine flu epidemic).  So we had her come on down and snap some photos.  She only bought two prints because the prices were astronomical.  However I took them from the company's website so we can at least show them off here...

Separated At Birth...

So what do you think?  Look alike?

Homecoming...

We made it home today after a 40 hour hospital stay. It's crazy how much different it was this time around.  Last time we were quarantined and only got checked on maybe twice a day by the nurses...got hardly any hospitality during our stay.  This time, we couldn't get them to leave us alone!

We were pretty much in and out.  We got checked in at the hospital around 7:45PM or so.  By 8:30PM we were upstairs in the delivery room.  9:00PM Daniela had her epidural.  9:53PM Evan arrived.  We even got to see the fireworks downtown from the delivery room shortly before she gave birth.  Much better process than the 18 hour labor like last time!!

Daniela and I were even talking about how much easier it is at the house too.  We remember when we came home with J, we were pretty stressed out the first couple days.  We had no clue what was going on or what we were doing.  As Rick would say, it isn't our first rodeo anymore.  Either Evan is being a really good baby, or we are just pros at this point...

What Up Brotha!!!

J is slowly becoming more and more interested in his new little brother.  He LOVES giving him kisses!

Evan's First Visitor...

Grandma became the first visitor to see Evan on Tuesday morning.
