J's One-Night Stand...

Check out J's new move...

8 months and counting...

Happy Birthday Shug!

COMING SOON: First Haircut...

So it's no secret that J needs a haircut, bad.  He was born with a full head of hair, and none of it fell out.  So it definitely is in need.  He's starting to get the "is it a boy or girl?" question more and more.

I have been trying to talk Daniela in to it for quite some time now, but have been met with nothing but resistance.  She wants to wait until he's 1 year old, which on the norm would be fine.  But our shug's hair is just way too long to be able to make it until the first birthday.  Tonight she finally cracked!  She has given me the approval to schedule his first haircut!

I did some searching and came across a place out in Sanford that I think will be location.  It's called Cool Cuts 4 KidsThey have barber chairs that are shaped out of cool cars like taxis, fire trucks and police cars.  If the fancy chairs won't hold him good enough, I might just have to sit him on my lap.  But it's going to be so worth it!  He's going to look like a stud when he's done.  Can't wait!!!

Happy Birthday Grandma and Rick!!!

Today was Rick and Grandma's birthdays. We cooked beef tenderloin for them to celebrate. J had a blast hanging out with his cousins, as usual.  We tried to take a photo of J in his Happy Birthday hat, but he wasn't cooperating.  Sorry...

Happy Birthday!

Lexi's Talent Show...

I stopped by Lexi's talent show this evening at her school just long enough to see her perform.  I'm very glad that I did because she did great.  Not only did she get out there and crank out an a capella performance, but she actually wrote her own song.  Very proud of you Lexi!

Slowly But Surely...

J has been steadily improving with his crawling and is beginning to get the hang of it.  Although, when he really gets excited and needs to get somewhere quickly, he's still opting to just lay down and roll to his destination...

Shug's New Wheels...

J just traded in his carseat and stroller for a new set of wheels at the grocery store.  He has graduated to the cart seat.  He's growing so fast.  I have a feeling that before I know it he will be pushing the cart and running in to my ankles as I walk.  Can't wait...

Some Things Never Change...

Happy Easter!!!

So J's first Easter came and went. He had a great day hanging out with everyone in his family. He was even able to give all of his cousins an Easter basket! He looked great in his Easter outfit, although he's still trying to figure out the shoes thing. He'll get it one day...

Easter, Here We Come...

We had all of the youngsters in the family over today to dye eggs for Easter. I was expecting more of a mess, but everything turned out ok. We hope all of the kids had fun. Tomorrow we're going to hide all of the eggs so they can go on a Easter egg hunt...
