Bird Man...
Went to Lake Eola today to feed some ducks. It turns out that the pigeons had taken over the park. It was tough to get close to the swans and ducks without the birds swarming you and stealing the bread. J didn't seem to mind. He was frolicking with the pigeons like they were his people. At least until something spooked them and they all took off at once and scared the crap out of J...

J got a flintstones car! Unfortunately, the transmission is currently stuck in reverse. Hopefully as soon as his legs get a little longer he will figure out how to go forward...
Grandma's Birthday Dinner...
We went with Grandma to Macaroni Grill tonight for an early birthday celebration, then brought the party back to our house for some cake. Daniela picked a good one, cake was tasty. Had a great time...

Playtime with Lexi & Aunt Tiffany...
Tiffany and Lexi came over to hang out with J yesterday while we went to our sonogram appointment. We were pleasantly surprised to come home and discover him running around and playing like we never left. We feared the worst and were worried he would spend the whole time crying. I guess this means they will have to take him more often!
First Look, Shug Jr.
We had our first sonogram today and got to see our new shug. It has been confirmed, it's a boy! I'm curious to know if that gender test we took a couple weeks ago was a coincidence or if it actually knew what it was talking about. Either way, J is going to have a new brother to play with in a few months. Also, the sonogram indicated that Daniela is actually closer to 14 weeks than 13. So it looks like her due date is around July 17 instead of the 22nd. We posted all of the sonogram photos at the album link below.
1st sonogram scheduled...
Daniela had a doc appointment today where she got to hear the baby's heartbeat. They have scheduled our first sonogram for Monday, January 17. It's going to be too soon to confirm the baby's gender, but it will give us our first look of the new shug...
It's a homerun!
J doesn't let a strike keep him down. He gets right back up, dusts off his cleats and steps up to the plate. He's getting pretty good at hitting the ball too...
Intro To The New Year...
J had a rough time last night. There's some sort of bug going around between all the kids in the fam and J got bit. He was awake until 4am throwing up. We don't have any more clean sheets, towels, blankets or pillowcases left in the house. I got to take a 2:30am shower, and shug didn't fall asleep until the sun was almost up. Happy New Year!
